Adamson, Lynda G. Literature Connections to American History, K-6. Englewood, CO: Libraries Unlimited, Inc. 1998. REF E178.3.A34 1998 This is an annotated bibliography. It is organized by authors' last names for titles in it. Looking under Underground Railroad in the index, items 228, 488, and 515 gives a resource for each item along with a short synopsis of it. There are other titles often given for further reading. This bibliography is meant for teachers and librarians to use with their students but it also useful for anyone's basic understanding.
